Donald Parker
Don is the founder, President, and CEO of Parker Energy Consulting, with an accomplished international career in Major Capital Projects. His expertise, gained through progressive roles such as Decision and Risk Management Consultant, Regional Project Controls Manager, and Six-Sigma Project Leader, has equipped him to lead a successful consulting firm.
He has held key leadership positions at ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, Quarter North Energy, Dow Chemical, and Reliant Energy across Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Turnarounds, and Maintenance, managing projects from definition to startup.
Beyond his roles, Don has co-chaired the CII Performance Assessment Community of Practice, chaired the Risk Management COP, and spoken at industry conferences. He co-founded a Toastmasters chapter and served as a Graduate Assistant for the Dale Carnegie Professional Development Course. Don holds an Honors B.S. in Business Administration, has pursued an MBA, and is certified in Decision and Risk Management, Project and Risk Management (PMI), and as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
