In this course, you will learn about coring objectives for the various stages of field development; types of coring, including bottomhole coring (conventional and coring-while-drilling), bottomhole coring assembly parts, and disposable liners and barrels. We will cover sidewall coring, including percussion and rotary or drilled sidewall coring, plus other sidewall coring methods, along with their advantages and disadvantages.
