- Explain the four common hazards associated with electrical distribution and utilization equipment.
- Describe the consequences of arc blast, and how to minimize any resultant or secondary injury.
- Describe how to determine the nominal voltage of exposed live parts.
- Explain the method of safely measuring the voltage present on an exposed conductor.
- Describe how to distinguish exposed live parts from other parts of electrical equipment.
- Describe the safe use of Multimeters.
- Describe how to create an electrically safe work condition and how to verify it using live-dead-live testing.
