About the eLearning Course
Eye and Face Protection is designed to help you meet the training requirements of HSE Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992. It covers information mandated by the standard, including how eye and face injuries occur, and how the proper selection and use of personal protective equipment can prevent injuries.

Operators, technicians, and other professionals who require knowledge to operate and maintain facilities safely and effectively.You Will Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Describe the function and components of the eye and how it works to produce vision.
- Identify the causes of common eye and face injuries.
- Describe the EN Marking requirements for eye and face protection.
- Identify the different types of safety glasses, when they should be used, and describe their limitations.
- Identify when goggles should be used and describe their limitations.
- Identify when a face shield should be used and describe its limitations.
- Identify when a welding helmet should be used and describe its limitations.
- Identify the proper use and care of protective eye and face equipment.
- Recognize the first-aid procedures for eye and face injuries.
