About the eLearning Course
Fall Prevention is designed to help you meet the basic training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.23 (c)(1) and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.503. The program identifies the various types of fall hazards and shows you ways to reduce or eliminate the danger. Special emphasis on selection and use of lanyards, full body harnesses and anchorage points.

- Summarize how to properly use fall prevention systems.
- Explain how to avoid the hazards of suspension trauma.
- Name the required components in a fall prevention plan.
- Describe how to provide overhead protection when working with fall prevention equipment.
- Explain the function and design of fall arrest equipment.
- Summarize how to properly use fall arrest equipment.
- Describe proper anchoring and tie-off techniques.
- Indicate how to properly use a full-body harness.
- Identify how to inspect and store fall arrest equipment.
